golden age synthwave here, 1 of a special group of artists who emerged on scene circa 2010-2013, bringing renewed hope for 1980s passion to make a triumphant return to the airwaves, and videowaves! Come back Cougar Synth!! seems they disappeared quickly, but this remains an iconic entry into old school synthwave!! Shane Dangers

10 years on, this remains a very iconic album of the early synthwave/1980s movement.. I'd say this is 1 of the top 100 synthwave albums of all time, should a list like that ever be made.. this should def be on it! Shane Dangers

BellaDonna has some interesting subtle experiments with percussive hooks, like the popping slap hits on the outrun of "Pearls" or "Jovian"'s metallic, almost industrial beat, backing among other things a soulful saxophone solo. "Are you still here" is a chill, funky dance number. "Heartbreaker" is more outrun with hard, chopping beats and a few cool guitar solos as you dance around the girl of everyone's dreams. "Donna" shows SLAD's warm side with a great hook made of rising triplets. Romance. kmxexii
